Simon Lande - CEO
Simon Lande is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Magus.
As CEO, Simon is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, and also has a client-facing role across a number of our major accounts.
Before founding Magus, Simon was a research scientist, completing a PhD in biochemistry at Imperial College London. Reflecting his origins, Simon continues to stay very close to the product development process, which defines the innovative heart of Magus.

Nicola Thompson - Director of Interface
Nicola Thompson is Director of Interface, and heads up the company's product and experience design activities.
Nicola has been immersed in web technologies, and the effective delivery of information online since 1995. She has led the definition and delivery of strategic website solutions to a wide range of blue-chip clients, including: Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, The Institution of Engineering and Technology, GE Healthcare and Smith & Nephew.
Nicola studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, alongside many of the bright lights of the Brit Art generation.

Dan Hanley - Chief Technology Officer
Dan Hanley is Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the development and operations of our platform and client applications. He joined Magus in 2003.
He has over twenty years' industry experience, focusing exclusively on internet and search-related technologies. He has delivered systems for: Sainsbury's, TRW, Motorola, Sony, Vodafone, Shell and Unilever.
Dan holds a BSc from the National University of Ireland and an MSc from London South Bank University.

David Wiblin - Head of Search
David Wiblin is Head of Search. He holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
He joined Magus in 2000, and made an immediate impact in streamlining Magus's production environment, implementing hosted search services on corporate web presences. He has been responsible for building an infrastructure capable of providing high quality search services to blue-chip companies in the UK and Europe.
David previously spent eight years with AEA Technology, working in pharmaceutical development and production.

Chris Knowles - Head of CrucialInformation
Chris Knowles is Head of Current Awareness. He is responsible for product development and ensuring client projects are delivered successfully.
Before joining Magus, he was the founder of Vrisko, a company specialising in high-value information integration solutions for knowledge-intensive organisations. Vrisko was acquired by Magus in November 2003.
Chris is a graduate of Cambridge University, and started his career in print and publishing.
He spent 10 years at BT, managing their portfolio of online business information services. In 1993 he became head of marketing for Tel-Me, which was for a time the largest online business information service in the UK.
